What can I expect to pay for your lessons?

 

I do 45$ for 30 mins, or 60$ for 60 minutes. You can pay on a weekly or a monthly basis, whatever is convenient for you. On top of that, you can stop at anytime for any reason, no questions asked, no worries!

What can you teach me?

 

I can teach a wide variety of acoustic styles and musical theory. I specialize in fingerstyle techniques. According to a student's level of experience and their desire to learn specific music, the lessons and how they are carried out will vary accordingly. I will cater to what someone already knows/doesn't know, and create an individualized lesson plan. I'm also available for electric guitar of all styles (that's where I got my start, in fact) and piano lessons. Same rates!

What if I am unavailable for a lesson?

 

No biggie. At the beginning of the month, I would prefer to know if you won't be able to make it to a lesson or lessons. The sooner I know you can't make it, the better. At least 24 hours notice is preferred, but I understand these situations can get complicated, so no worries. We might always be able to rearrange a time, if necessary.

Are you doubting me?! How could you? Well, that's okay. I understand.

If for any reason you aren't satisfied with your lessons, you can cancel anytime, no worries. That's one of the nice things about online lessons, they're very easy to start and stop. Still, I strive for fun and satisfying experiences with guitar playing/learning above all else, and I hope you get to be a part of that.

Does Pineapple belong on pizza?

 

Why are you asking me this? This FAQ is supposed to be centered around guitar, lessons, music, etc. But, alas, I will answer this question, as I consider it to be a thought provoking topic. Pineapple on pizza? I would say it depends. Are we talking a classic Hawaiian pie? That comes with ham, of course. The two ingredients compliment each other so well. Truly an old comfort of mine, though I prefer something more along the lines of a supreme pizza, given the choice. Now, putting pineapple on a supreme pizza? That's different. That's just wrong. Please don't do that.

What is the better Arnold movie? Conan or T2?

​

The buff hipster in me has to vote for Conan, simply because it's such a masculinely immersive experience. What testosterone laden person doesn't want to crush their enemies, see them driven before them, and hear the lamentations of their women? I will admit T2 is a better film in virtually every way, however. It's hard to disagree. Though, the lines are much less awesome. Hasta La Vista is meh. Not bad, but... Crom is cooler. Plus, that soundtrack is amazing. Basil Poledouris kills it.
